Getting a Kindle 3 In Singapore

Have you ever noticed Amazon Kindle 3 is not available for delivery to Singapore , Thailand , Malaysia , China and Brunei when you click on Buy it at Amazon . Now there is a way for you to purchase your Kindle In Singapore. You can either buy it locally or direct from Amazon.

Here the step by step how I get my Amazon Kindle 3 to Singapore, and also buying kindle books without any problem.

Step 1
Register for a ComGateway Account

I had only used ComGateway for all my USA purchased so far and have delivered promptly, mostly within 3 to 5 days.

After you registered at ComGateway with you USA address, go to step 2.

Step 2
Go to Amazon.com, and add the product to your shopping cart.

Right after you adding the product(s) to your shopping cart, click on checkout. You will be asked to login if you have not already done so. If you do not have an Amazon account, you can create one.

Step 3
Add the USA postal address from your ComGateway to your Amazon account and select it as the shipping address.

Then choose the shipping option . Amazon give free shipping to your USA address.


Step 4
Check your orders properly and after you have verified your details, click on “Place Your Order”

Once you have placed your order , note down your invoice number.

Step 5
Go to your Comgateway account , click on shop now green button. Enter Amazon.com and click go.

Then click start shopping next .

You will see the Comgateway and Amazon screen side by side.Check your USA shipping address is correct and click next.

 Now enter your invoice number and amount.

Step 7
Wait for your shipment to arrive at Comgateway .

Tracking from Amazon to you USA address can be done using the instructions in their email.

Once your item arrived at ComGateway, you will receive an email asking you to make payments.


NOTE: Please not that if item you purchase is over $400 SGD, you are likely to pay GST.

Step 8
After you make payments, wait for your item to arrive and is normally 3 - 4 days for my case using American Express for ComGateway .

VPN Setup For Windows XP

Setting up HideIPVPN access under Windows XP is simple. The following instructions go step-by-step through the creation process.

Open Network Connections
First, open the Network Connections by going to the Start Menu and selecting Settings->Network Connections. It may also be located in Settings->Control Panel->Network Connections.


When your control panel opens, double–click on Network and Dial–Up Connections.
Start Connection Wizard

Next, select Connect to the network at my workplace and click the Next button.

Set auto-connect
On this screen, click Do not dial the initial connection and click the Next button. (if you have to dial-up to connect to the internet select Automatically dial this initial connection: and select the connection you want to use)

Type in the name or the IP address of a HideIpVPN server. You have to check the email you have received when you have paid for the HideIpVPN account. You will find there the available servers.
Then click the Next button.

Set Username and Password
Next, we’ll set up the connection settings.

In the yellow User Name box, enter your HideIPVPN.com username.In the green Password box, enter your HideIPVPN.com password. Optionally, click ‘Save Password’ to save your password as part of the connection. That’s it!
Connect To HideIPVPN
When you want to connect to HideIPVPN.com, just double–click on the connection and click the ‘Connect’ button. Enter your username and password (if you didn’t save it), and you’ll connect!
Disconnect From HideIPVPN
To disconnect from a VPN connection, right-click the icon for the connection, and then click “Disconnect”.
